LMFAO usually set the place on fire at their shows, but that's metaphorically speaking!  Last night, LMFAO had to stop their concert in Honduras early when a fire ignited and burned through the venue!  Cops believe the blaze was not the result of an accident, but arson.

According to the local news reports in Honduras, the fire broke out towards the end of the show at the Coliseo Nacional de Ingenieros.  The group was forced to end the show as the smoke rapidly began spreading through the arena, filling the air with dangerous toxins.

No one was killed in the fiery accident, but 15 people were treated for smoke inhalation.

Cops believe someone actually set fire to the electrical system at the venue, but no arrests have been made so far. (TMZ)

After the show, Redfoo tweeted about the incident -- first joking, "Epic concert tonight!!!! Everybody in Honduras, we set the place on fire!!!!"

He also explained, "They told us that there was a fire when we were on stage. Then we went to the dressing rooms and there was smoke in the halls."

An hour later, he was more somber ... tweeting, "On a serious note. Hope everybody is safe from the fire tonight! love you Honduras!"

On a serious note, I've been saying for years that people need to quit chanting "The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire!  We don't need no water let the mother fu**er burn!"  That chant is just bad luck.
