It's been a heck of a ride for Tucker Davidson to his first Major League Baseball win. Tucker from Amarillo made his first start for the Atlanta Braves during the final game of the 2020 season.

The Tascosa High Alumn made an impressive start but he walked away with the loss. Then after getting hurt during the 2021 season after making a few starts. It all set him up to eventually get the ball to start Game 5 of the World Series.

Even before that start and before getting hurt Tucker was set up to win a World Series Ring when the Braves won it all in 2021. Getting to pitch that game would be a dream for any player.

So here is Tucker Davidson with a World Series ring but without his first Major League Baseball victory. He had been in the minors since the start of this season with the Gwinnett Stripers.

Tucker Made the Fast and Furious Trip to Start Wednesday Night

He got the call back up earlier this week and made the mad dash to get to Milwaukee for his start with the Braves on Wednesday night. What a showing he made.

Tucker ended up pitching five innings. It seems like three was the magic number for him that night. He only gave up three hits he also walked a total of three batters. Oh and he struck out three batters as well.

Sticking with the theme for the night. The Braves won by a score of 3-0. Which gave Tucker Davidson his first career Major League Baseball win. Not bad for a kid from Amarillo with dreams of making it to the big leagues.

Welcome to victory Tucker. We love seeing you here. Keep making Amarillo proud and I am still waiting to see that World Series ring in person.
