Former WT Football Player Gets A Shot With The Dallas Cowboys

A dream comes true for a former WT football star! Anthony Armstrong who played for WT from 2001-2004 has got a taste with the NFL. After leaving WT he played for the Miami Dolphins, Washington Redskins, Jacksonville Jaguars, and now Anthony recently has signed with his all time favorite football team the Dallas Cowboys. Armstrong, who grew up in Carrollton and went to Newman Smith High School is glad to be coming back home and playing with the Cowboys.

With Dallas experiencing some injuries on their wide receiver squad Armstrong got the call to play this weekend. Let's root on our former WT football star and we wish him the best of luck.

Now all Jerry Jones needs is a QB to throw to our hometown star!
