Fritch Man Arrested for Taboo Relationship

This story is one of love. Love that is unconditional.

Love that has gone entirely too far.

A man in Fritch was arrested last night on charges of Prohibited Sexual Conduct w/ Ancestor/Descendant. Not one count...but TWO counts.

Now, as sad as it sounds, we hear about this happening far more than we ever should. However, it has a tendency to be wrapped around cousins, nieces/nephews, etc. Even stepchildren.

Joshua Cormack allegedly decided to level up on all that though...by sleeping with his own blood daughter. Yes, you read that right. BLOOD daughter.

The definition of prohibited sexual contact in the state of Texas is this:

(a) A person commits an offense if the person engages in sexual intercourse or deviate sexual intercourse with another person the actor knows to be, without regard to legitimacy:
(1) the actor's ancestor or descendant by blood or adoption;
(2) the actor's current or former stepchild or stepparent;
(3) the actor's parent's brother or sister of the whole or half blood;
(4) the actor's brother or sister of the whole or half blood or by adoption;
(5) the children of the actor's brother or sister of the whole or half blood or by adoption; or
(6) the son or daughter of the actor's aunt or uncle of the whole or half blood or by adoption.

I mean, that covers a lot of different types of relationships. I can see how SOME of those could be misinterpreted. No, I wouldn't be one not to understand any of those, but I think common sense would tell ANYONE that your blood daughter kind of falls in that.

Hutchinson County has plenty of people who have committed a criminal blunder (or two). And just like any other bigger city, jail is no fun. However, some of the residents of Borger and Stinnett are believers in keeping their spirits high in the face of adversity.

Well....let's just say that Randall County's cheerful inmates aren't the only ones who seem happy to be arrested....While there’s nothing funny about committing a crime, these offenders in Hutchinson County certainly do know how to light up a pod with their smile :-)
