Prom season is here and that means make-up, shoes, nails, hair and most importantly the dress!  But some girls are taking the whole 'dress' thing to another level.  They are using social medias like Facebook and Instagram to make sure nobody wears the same dress as them.

Prom has always been a big deal.  It is the one night high school girls can dress in their best and go have fun.  For the ladies, the dress is a major deal.  And, of course, you don't want to show up wearing the same dress as someone else.  So what can you do to make sure that doesn't happen?  Turn to social media!

Girls are creating Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media accounts to post pictures of their dress and give a warning.  Some of the pages are threatening to steal the dress, ruin the dress and even cause physical harm.

The Facebook page "This is my prom dress, b***h" is a closed group page, but still crazy. It gives the rundown of how the site works and says to include consequences for example: "Consequences if you steal someones dress: someone will throw purple drank on you... jokes."

A girl posted this on Twitter:

Is this going a little too far?  I believe so.  I mean it is an awesome feeling to be the only one in the perfect dress, but would it be the end of the world if someone else showed up in the same one?

This may be just a joke, but there will always be that one person who takes it too far.  All of the young ladies attending prom want to look their best and spend a great deal of time and money on their outfit.  You wouldn't want someone to "spill purple drank" on your dress so don't do it to others.

With that being said I think this is a great idea.  That way you know you will have a one of a kind dress, but leave out the threats!  By the way, I call dibs on the purple one.  ;)
