As you read in the blog by Tommy the Hacker, a replacement referee blew the whistle, and the game, for the Green Bay Packers on Monday night.  In response to the irresponsibly bad call, the mayor of Green Bay, James Schmitt, wrote an angry letter to the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell.  The meat and taters of the letter?  That theses replacement refs are going to blow the chance for the Packers to pack the field on Super Bowl Sunday.

TMZ paid for, I mean obtained, a copy of the letter and does some hard-hitting reporting to tackle the issue.

TMZ:

TMZ obtained a copy of the letter ... in which the Mayor claims the NFL's elite status is being "threatened by less than qualified officials who are not quite at the same level as the rest of the league's representatives."

Hey, these "replacements" have been calling the shots at high school football games, I think that makes them more than qualified!
