NFL Replacement Referee From Amarillo On Field During Worst Call Ever – [VIDEO]

Last night the world witnessed one of the worst calls in NFL history. Monday Night football is one of the most popular televised sporting events of all-time. I'm sure everyone was familiar with the debacle that took place in last night game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Green Bay Packers.

The play came on a last second hail-mary pass from Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Simmons to the end zone. The football appeared to have been intercepted by Green Bay Packers M.D. Jennings but the refs called it a touch down for the Seattle Seahawks with the ball ending up in Golden Tates hands. As the instant replay played over and over on TV it clearly showed it was intercepted. Here's where Amarillo gets a little love!

One of the referees that was on the field was Richards Simmons of Amarillo, Texas. You might have seen him reffing your sons high-school football game or maybe a Venom game. Just to clarify Richard was NOT the ref that made the call but he was one of the replacement refs on the field working the game that will always be remembered as The Worst Call Ever!!!!!
