Have A Special Easter Egg Hunt At the Amarillo Zoo This Weekend

One of the biggest and best egg hunts is this weekend at the Amarillo Zoo!It's the 7th Annual "Easter Egg-Citement egg hunt this Saturday at the Amarillo Zoo! Take your kids to the zoo and check out all the animals while getting candy-filled eggs from the costumed characters roaming about the zoo. There will be a parrot, tiger, hummingbird, kangaroo, and other springtime animals! The kids can also take a picture with the guest of honor-The Easter Bunny! You can also pet a bunny at Bunnyville.

There's the "Bunny Trail EggVenture where you can hop, jump, run from one eggsploration station to the next.  It's filled with lots of fun things for the kids. Plus, get a special passport to collect candy-filled eggs from the costumed characters.

There will also be face painting (for an extra fee).

Even the Zoo animals will get in on the action with eggy-enrichments. The lions, tigers, monkeys and lemurs will be given “special egg treats” throughout the day.

Keep a look-out for the special GOLD eggs hidden around the zoo. Find one and redeem it for a special prize. (one per child)
