Two Hereford Men Arrested For Storming U.S. Capitol
It's one of the days that will infamously live in American history, and now we're finding out that a couple of men from Hereford will forever have their name linked to the events that happened.
January 6, 2021, the day of the so-called insurrection that took place at the U.S. Capitol building. The day when hundreds, if not thousands stormed the Capitol in an effort to disrupt the certification of the election.
People forcing their way inside the building, breaking windows to gain that entry, and just causing an absolute ruckus at the Capitol. Protesting is well within the rights of Americans, but what happened that day wasn't ok.
Two men from Hereford have now been exposed as participants in the days events thanks to some unsealed charges by a judge in Washington D.C.
Donald Workman and John Clark, both of Hereford, have been charged with six charges for their role in the insurrection.
Those charges include assaulting or resisting officers, entering restricted space and acts of violence on the Capitol grounds.
Several photos of video from the day were screenshotted in order to be able to identify the two men, and it came from several different sources, one of those being bodycam footage from an officer.
Workman even went as far to hop on YouTube and make a video talking about the entire days events. He mentioned being sprayed multiple times with different chemical irritants.
Workman is currently being held in the Randall County Jail while Clark was arrested in Virginia.
