It seems that more and more women are starting to ditch the razor and sport the hairy armpits.  But is that a huge turnoff?

So many women, including many celebrities, are embracing the natural, summer trend of hairy armpits.  As a matter of fact, a woman's advocate is hosting a contest in China asking women to post pictures of their unshaven armpits.

For decades, we have been taught that it is un-lady like and unhygienic for women to grow out their pit hair.  Women advocate, Xiao Meili, said that men have complete freedom over their bodies.  They grow beards, leg hair and more.  In a recent interview with The New York Times, she said: "I’m just saying if some people don't want to shave, the rest of us should not think their underarm hair is disgusting, unhygienic, uncivil or not feminine enough.”

I understand that it is the 21st Century and women are fighting for equality, but is there a line that we shouldn't cross?  Is one summer of not shaving your armpits going to change decades of what we've been taught?  I'm not sure.

I'm not here to judge anyone, to each their own.  But what do you think?  Is armpit hair a turn off?
