There are a lot of things you can do with a cardboard box in Amarillo. It seems the biggest thing I have used them for recently is moving my daughter. Every move requires countless boxes.

Since she has been here, we have discovered other uses. Recently, the granddaughter had to make a cardboard box car for daycare. They were going to have a parade at the center. So we got to making that project.

She wanted a cheetah box car. So what she wanted, we got done. The parade was a success. It turns out you can do fun things with cardboard boxes. Who knew they could be used for much more than storage and moving?

The folks at Amarillo Parks and Recreation are letting you have a time being creative with cardboard boxes as well. This is not a parade but a race and a test to see how you can stay afloat.
