Shelton’s Flowers & Gifts Celebrates Six Decades Serving Amarillo

From 1965 to Today: A Floral Legacy

That business is Shelton's Flowers and Gifts. They have been a part of the Amarillo community for 60 years. They opened their doors in 1965 and have been here ever since. They moved into a bigger location several years ago, and can be found at 7100 SW 45th.

I have been friends with the owner, Vyna Sharpensteen, since our kids went to daycare together many years ago. Both kids are now grown with kids of their own now, but Shelton's is always the place my family would go to when we need flowers. Nothing is better than a surprise delivery to my daughter. She has done the same for me over the years, and always, Shelton's Flowers and Gifts.
