Another Four-Day Weekend For Amarillo Kids – What to Do With Them?

It's a new month which means more days off of school in Amarillo. Yep, the kids have been back to school since early January and they have already had MLK Day off and a snow day. They are due for another break before the big one - Spring Break.

Just a heads up that on top of the President's Day off that they usually get there is another day added. So they will be out on Monday, February 17th for President's Day. You may not be aware that they will also be out the Friday before. A four-day weekend. Which also happens to be Valentine's Day.

Did You Know The Kids Were Out On Valentine's Day?

That one may throw you off so if you don't have regular daycare or family in town you may be in a crunch. You may struggle to find someone available to watch your little ones on Valentine's Day.

So luckily there is a place willing to jump in and help. Oh, and this place will also make sure they have fun. Of course, when you think of kid's fun one place that comes to mind is The Discovery Center.

The best part is you can choose to send them one day or even two. Maybe you can take a half day off on Friday, great, they have half-day options, too. The best part is if your kids are having fun then they won't have time to call and bother you at work. This is definitely a win.
