Who couldn't use a night out in Amarillo? I mean, we get it. There is so much going on that sometimes finding time for yourself is not that easy. Then factor in that you don't have family in town or a trusted sitter. That time is even more limited.

Finding time to go out and grab dinner with a friend, a spouse, or a significant other is very important to your mental health. You need time with a grown-up to talk about your day or just to have fun. You know you feel better after a few hours away.

If you don't have anyone to watch the kiddos, that can make things difficult, but luckily, there is an answer. The Don Harrington Discovery Center is hosting another Parents' Night Out.

A night when you can go have a break. You can grab dinner or see a movie. Hey, we are not here to judge; if all you want is a nap, that's fine. We get it. Rest easy knowing your kids are engaged in hands-on learning while you recharge.

Eggtastic Science: What Your Kids Will Learn This Friday

Parents' Night Out is happening.

Calling all scientists aged 4 -Grade 5 (and their grownups who need some time off!) April's Parent Night Out is almost here!

On Friday, April 10, from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM, DHDC and their super educators have an eggs-tra, egg-citing, egg-stravaganza planned!
They will explore egg drop physics and enjoy an evening with our exciting exhibits. It’s going to be Eggtastic!

Dinner will be provided by our local supporters, Chick-Fil-A on Gem Lake.

So while you are getting the mental break that you need, your kids are having the time of their lives. They will have so much fun that they will look forward to you needing another night out next month.
