Good News Amarillo, Buc-ee’s is Starting to Hire for New Store

We are anxiously awaiting the opening of the Texas dream here in Amarillo. Yes, I am talking about Buc-ee's. We found out about our city being lucky enough to snag a location a little bit over two years ago.

It's hard to believe that we are about a year from that dream becoming a reality. They are building heaven right now over on Airport Boulevard. I know I watch the progress everytime I drive by.

We are just counting the days until we can walk through those pearly gates. Or, I guess those front doors into the chosen land. Buc-ee's is going to be a reality. The latest news. Because of course we are on a Buc-ee's watch.

Any news about Buc-ee's is big news to us in Amarillo or anyone who drives on I-40. So the big news is that they are starting the hiring process. This is not a drill. We know that this store is going to brings jobs to our area and now is the time to start that process.

What is Buc-ee's Currently Hiring For?

If you are wanting a job at this chosen location I would not wait. There are a list of open positions that they are hiring for right now. Of course, as with any new place they are hiring for management first.

They have to hire and then train so that they can then train their crew. If you are looking for a management position now is your chance to get in on the ground floor.

They have a lot to offer their employees. Great pay, insurance, PTO and they have a pretty good 401K match.

What I like about them starting the hiring process is the fact that Amarillo finally made it to the Buc-ee's website. No, we are not listed under locations yet. A little too soon for it. It is nice to see us listed under careers.
