It has gotten unbelievable how much college costs these days in Amarillo, or really anywhere. Any help you can get will help a lot. This is the time of year when students are graduating from high school and ready for that next step.

Heck, you may even be in college already but can use the help for that next semester. Even if you have it all figured out. It would be nice if you did. Not likely, but nice. Any time you can get an extra $2,000 to help with college is a good day.

We have just that opportunity for you. All it will do is cost you an hour to be on your way to winning one of three two-thousand-dollar scholarships for college. An hour. Oh, and the more people you can rally to take an hour themselves the better.

The best part is not only can you hopefully get two thousand dollars towards your education but you will also be saving a life. The B Fly Blood Drive is happening on Tuesday, April 30th from 9 am until 7 pm at Coffee Memorial Blood Center - 7500 Wallace Blvd.

The very next day, May 1st, there will be three scholarships awarded courtesy of Arron Sims in memory of his wife Brittany Fly-Sims. All you have to do is donate blood. Oh and get all of your friends and family to donate as well and nominate you. Why not increase your chances of winning? The more the merrier.

Need college money? Tuesday is the day to start that process of helping you on your journey. You can also help Coffee Memorial Blood Center get their blood supply back to normal levels.
