There is something truly special about the way a good pool day can turn a regular week into a vacation. The energy in Amarillo this summer is contagious, and Thompson Pool-ooza is just another reason to get out and enjoy our local parks.

Thompson Pool-ooza: A Week of Aquatic Adventure

The Amarillo Parks and Recreation is looking to give you a whole week of reasons to get outside and head to Thompson Park Swimming Pool. They are bringing Thompson Pool-ooza with a whole lot of fun.

We’ll be making a splash with a different theme each day, so start planning those costumes now! Admission is general entry, and activities will take place during regular pool hours: 12pm–3pm or 4pm–7pm.

Daily Theme Schedule and Costumes

Every day that week, there will be a different theme with dress-up opportunities and fun activities, July 13 - 17.

• Monday: Pirates & Mermaids
• Tuesday: Ice Cream Social
• Wednesday: Lu'au Day
• Thursday: Backyard Games Day
• Friday: Shark Day
