Texas is a big state and within this state is a plethora of activities for any traveler.  You can find a perfect destination in just about any city you travel in the Lone Star State.

In the DFW area, you’ll find amusement parks, stockyards, and plenty of museums. Austin has the state capital, the best BBQ, and all the weirdness you could want. Lubbock gives us Buddy Holly, windmills, and prairie dogs. Amarillo has a giant 72 oz steak, a bunch of buried Cadillacs and VW Beetles, and just down the road, Palo Duro Canyon. In Fredericksburg, you’ll find wine, German culture, and great shopping. And along the coast, there are beautiful beaches.

If you are active, you can find many places to hike, run, bike, and walk all across the state.
