Who Is the New Owner of Canyon Popcorn Co.?

When you have a beloved business, it always hurts when a business says it is closing its doors. One longtime Canyon business shared that they would be closing due to lease issues and were unable to find a buyer. That was the Canyon Popcorn Co. However, at the last minute, a buyer was found, and this popular Canyon business will stay open.

Although they aren't open at the moment, it's just a matter of time before they have their grand reopening. The new owner needs time to acclimate to the business, learn the art of making popcorn, and bring new ideas.

Evelyn, aka Evie Romero, is now the owner of Canyon Popcorn Co. She loves popcorn, and she loves Canyon.

What's Staying the Same at Canyon Popcorn Co.?

If you're worried about big changes to your favorite place to buy popcorn, don't worry.  Romero plans to keep the vintage nostalgia of the store.

Preserving the charm and character of Canyon Popcorn Company is incredibly important to me, and I’m excited to build on that foundation while creating new experiences for our community.

She and her family are working behind the scenes but are excited about the store and new ideas they can bring.

When Is Canyon Popcorn Co. Reopening?

Romero is planning on being open by the end of June, which means she will hopefully be open for the big Independence Day Celebration. When the grand reopening finally rolls around, make sure to stop by, introduce yourself, and stock up on your favorite popcorn, candy, and gifts.
