Texas Governor Greg Abbott Plans Another Stop in Amarillo

It's election season and that means we will start seeing many top politicians making the rounds in Texas.  Governor Abbott returns to the Yellow City.

Governor Abbott will be back in Amarillo, on Friday, February 23rd, hosting the Help Governor Abbott Get Out The Vote In Amarillo along with Caroline Fairly.  Fairly is a conservative running for the Texas House District 87.

This will be the 2nd time this month that Abbott has been in Amarillo along with Fairly.  He was here on Friday, February 2nd, at an event at Tyler's BBQ on Paramount.

Governor Abbott will return to Amarillo on Friday, at a stop at Blue Sky,  4201 I-40 West, at 4:15 - 7 PM, and once again will be joined by Caroline Fairly.  If you would like to attend the event you must register.

Early voting for the primary elections is going on now and will last through March 1st.  Primary Election Day will be Tuesday, March 5th.

If history repeats itself, Governor Abbott will also have a group of friendly protestors outside the event.  During the event at Tyler's BBQ, there was a group across the street from the restaurant, the Amarillo Reproductive Freedom Alliance holding a peaceful protest against the abortion ban in Texas.
