Closure Announcement from Staff

According to a post in let it all out in Gray County Texas if you don't like it gtfo! Facebook group, the store is done.

The assistant manager posted:

I wanted to let you all know that we've officially closed our doors for good. Unfortunately, we haven't been meeting our business standards due to slow traffic. Thanks for all the support over the years!

Unfortunately, if people don't patronize stores, those stores don't hit their goals, and if a store isn't making money, it eventually closes. For smaller Texas Panhandle towns, having specialty stores like Hibbett saves residents from having to drive to Amarillo or other larger cities.
