Jack White and Karen Elson Celeberate Anniversary & Their Divorce With a Huge Bash

Anniversaries are definitely worth celebrating and many times so is a divorce, but how about doing it in the same night?  That is the mentality that Jack White and Karen Elson have.

Karen Elson, a famous model, met Jack White, musician, when she appeared in a music video for the White Stripes and the chemistry was instant.  They got married on June 1, 2005.  And six years and two kids later they are divorcing.

The two claim to remain close friends and want to celebrate the time spent together so what better than to throw a huge party for all their friends and family.  Here is some of what the invitation says:

"Karen Elson and Jack White kindly request the presence…at a party to celebrate their 6th anniversary, and their upcoming divorce with a positive swing bang hum dinger," the invite reads. "The party will include dancing, photos, memories and drinks with alcohol in them. This is only for close personal friends and family so please no plus ones or dead beats.

"Please help us celebrate together this anniversary of the making and breaking of the sacred union of marriage with our best friends and animals."

I love how they put no dead beats.  Priceless.  All I have to say is eat that Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.  What do you think?  Would you have an anniversary/divorce party?
