Lady Gaga is known for helping out wherever she can, but are all her good deeds really scams?  Yes, according to a recent lawsuit filed against her.

We all remember the horrible earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan and the damage it caused.  Celebrities quickly joined in on raising money for the cause, and Lady Gaga went all out.

She urged her fans to buy her "Lady Gaga Earthquake Relief Wristbands" that cost $5 each.  All proceeds were going to help in the recovery.  Great idea!

Well according to a class-action complaint, filed in U.S. District Court in Eastern Michigan claims that she mislead all her fans.  The lawsuit is filed against 25 year old Stefani Germanotta, which is Gaga's birth name.  The lawsuit claims that most of the money raised went to shipping.  So when all is said and done Japan only received 50 cents per bracelet.

There has been no comment from Lady Gaga or anyone from her camp, but she was in Japan last week for a benefit concert for more relief money.  Lady Gaga does have good intentions, so what went wrong.

Did she not think the plan all the way through or did she know what was going to happen?  I don't know.  All I know is the lawsuit is very real.  Do you think Lady Gaga scammed us all?
