Look, I'll be the first to admit I enjoy shopping. It's not just shopping in general though.

I LOVE to find a good deal. Nothing makes me feel better than finding a $50 item for $10-15.

There is something that frustrates me though. See, I'm a sports card collector and I am a part of a bunch of different card groups on Facebook. I see people finding great card deals in thrift shops around the country.

See, I don't seem to be that lucky. Doesn't mean I don't go looking. Of course I do...I just usually end up walking out with totally different items than I initially went in for.

So where are some of the best thrift shops in the Amarillo/Canyon area? Here's a few you may not know about, but should definitely check out if you like a little thrift shopping.

DWC THRIFT CITY

Inside you'll find a treasure trove of things, and some absolutely incredible deals. The prices are definitely sitting at TRUE thrift store prices, and that can be a rare thing to find. I noticed a Reddit user found a couple pair of vintage shoes for just $5. This is one of the best thrift shops to hit up for clothes, so the next time you're looking for some things to add to the wardrobe, check em out at 821 SW 10th Ave. They also have Thrift City TOO.

REUZE IT AGAIN

Here's a cool little place on the square in Canyon. ReuZe it Again is a great spot to find a little bit of everything. From home decoration, to vintage type items they've got it all. Everything in the store is fairly priced, and you'll find yourself loading up the trunk of your car with a bunch of items you never knew you needed until you saw them. Track them down at 1515 4th Ave in Canyon.

AMERICA'S BEST THRIFT STORE

You can find this gem at 3015 Plains Blvd in Amarillo. Inside it's jam packed. Sure, when things are packed in like that it can get a little tight to move, but would you rather have a ton to choose from, or a little more arm room? I'll take a packed store with great prices. They even run some great specials on Monday's and Wednesday's where you can get 50% off any clothes and linens on a hanger. Now THAT is saving some coin.
