Local Woman Asks For Help Over Sexual Harassment Issue

Working in a office atmosphere can sometimes be a stressful environment. It could even lead to relationship issues at home. I love when our listeners reach out to us for some advice. Recently we had a listener reach out for some advice dealing with a sexual harassment issue in the workplace. This is the story she sent us.

"Hey what's up Tommy your more then welcome to share my story but if you do please keep my name private. I've been working at a local business for quite some time now, and have noticed that my boss is a little too friendly. Sometimes he will put his arm around me or hug me and even tries to kiss me on the cheek. One time he even walked in on me in the bathroom.  I haven't spoken to human resources about the issue, because I love my job and it pays more then any job I ever had.

Now, he's asking me to go out of town with him on what he calls a "Business Trip". He says that if I go on this business trip with him there will be a promotion waiting for me when we get back. I found it weird when he asked me if I owned a bikini or not. The really awkward part is that he knows that I'm engaged and getting married at the end of August. He constantly tells me that not to get married. I'm not sure what to do part of me wants to report him to HR but I'm afraid to lose my job and the great pay that I get. I wonder if I should tell my fiancee about this because he's been known to fly off the handle!"
