Lubbock Pit Bull Owner, Who Cut Dogs Ears Off, Has Been Indicted

Juan Chavira, the man who hacked off the ears of a pit bull puppy, then left the helpless animal in the trunk of a car to just bleed and cry for help, has been indicted!  I know this story upset many people, so I just wanted to let you all know that justice has been served!

A Lubbock Country Grand Jury indicted Juan on Tuesday, he's being charged with animal cruelty, and they gave the charge a "torture enhancement" according to Amarillo Globe News.

As far as I know, the cute little pit bull puppy is still at the Lubbock animal shelter, where he remains evidence in the case against Juan.  However, I would assume with Juan being indicted, the puppy will probably be making his way to a new/loving home very soon.
