Meet the Intern: Michael Tapia

Hello everyone,

My name is Michael Tapia, and I am the new intern at Townsquare Media. Here is a little bit about myself:

I just graduated from West Texas A&M University with a degree in Mass Communication. I also have a minor in Spanish. So I can technically say that I speak two languages. I am not originally from here. I actually grew in Corpus Christi where I attended high school and got most of my community college stuff completed. I went to Carroll High School and Del Mar College. I lived in San Antonio for two years before moving here. I came to Amarillo in 2012 and have been here ever since.

Some of my hobbies include listening to the radio, watching sitcoms, and going to the gym. I currently go to Crunch Fitness. If you ever see me there make sure to say hi!

I listen to a lot of Contemporary Christian, Adult Contemporary, and Spanish pop and rock. Some of my favorite bands are Maná, Los Enanitos Verdes, Lady A, and Matchbox Twenty.

My favorite food would have be Chinese. I also like Indian, Greek, and Middle Eastern food. I also prefer Whataburger over In-N-Out
