Memorial Day weekend is quickly approaching in Amarillo, and many will find themselves with a three day weekend. Many will have some friends over and fire up the grill or smoker, while others will look for things to simply keep them active.

As we do these things, it's a time to reflect on those that have served our great country and given us the freedom to be able to do these things. We must never forget those that lost their lives and thank those who actively serve, or have served in the past.
