Patrick Kenneth Farmer, 57, is a former teacher here in Amarillo. Back on September 12, 2024, he was arrested for indecency with a child sexual contact and booked and processed through Randall County Jail.

He was released the next day on bond.

On Friday, he found himself indicted on different charges unrelated to the arrest mentioned previously. This time, it was two counts of indecency with a child sexual contact.

This particular incident happened a long time ago, was back in October of 1993. According to court documents, the incident happened when Farmer's genitals contacted the victim. He is also being accused of touching her genitals.

So why the 31 year wait on this case being brought to the limelight? Well, the mother decided to finally press the charges against him after hearing about his arrest back in September. She felt it was time to get this person off the streets.

Even more concerning, back in 2006, he pleaded guilty to four similar counts and was sentenced to a deferred sentence of six years.

Three years after that, a lawsuit was brought against Paramount Baptist Church, where Farmer worked for nearly ten years. The lawsuit stated that Farmer was inappropriate around the children and that complaints about it had been ignored.
