Photos Of Mini Food Mart Robber Released

Last Monday night, an armed man entered Mini Food Mart at 2813 Amarillo Blvd and demanded the clerks to "fork it over".  By "it", he meant "money".  The robbery took place around 10:15pm Monday night in Amarillo, and Amarillo Crime Stoppers released some pretty good photos of the suspect in an effort to locate him.

Amarillo Police:

"Last Monday night (3-24) at about 10:15 PM, officers were sent to the Mini Food Mart at 2813 Amarillo Blvd East on a robbery. The suspect entered through the front door and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect appeared to be a white male, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, dressed in a dark blue hooded sweat shirt, dark pants, orange shoes and clear glasses with large frames. The suspect was also wearing a dark beanie cap and possibly a gray scarf or cloth over the lower half of his face. The suspect was armed with a handgun and appeared to keep his hands inside of the sleeves of the hoodie. The clerk went behind the register and hid in a back room, and did not give him any money. The suspect left the scene, and surveillance cameras show him running northbound on N. Manhattan."
