QuikTrip In Amarillo Just Made A HUGE Change Inside The Store
When the QuikTrip opened up on Bell & Arden not too long ago, it created a palpable excitement in Amarillo. See, QT is more than just a convenience store. It's a kitchen (that makes some pretty solid food by the way), it's a convenience store, and it's a massive drink station.
Everything from soda, to slushies, to milkshakes, to coffee. Whatever it is you're craving, you can probably find it at QuikTrip.

Now, the location hasn't even been open a year yet, and they've already started to remodel the place...for the better.
Previously, when you went in for a cup of coffee, it was just that. Several regular tins of coffee you could pour from, and a couple of other types of options. Truthfully, I felt like it was one of the weaker parts of the store.
Well, no longer is that the case. I went in a few weeks ago and noticed they had the coffee area closed off with some drapes around it. I thought something just wasn't working properly, so they closed it off.
I couldn't have been more wrong. I went in there this morning to get a cup of coffee and got a chance to see what they had done to the place. It's...amazing.
Let's start here. This is the "drip" coffee station. No longer is it the old school, pull the lever style canisters they opened the doors with. Everything is now touch screen with different options.
Not to mention, the coffee actually tastes better than it did. As cool as that was to see, it wasn't the thing that blew my mind. If you look to the right of those new touch screens, you can't help but notice a couple of TV's drawing you in to this.
I introduce you to the new coffee bar. When I say bar, I mean it. That is iced coffee on draft like you'd see beer in a bar. I was absolutely blown away. The best part is, it's not just limited to a couple of different flavors.
You'll see there are several different flavors of latte's to choose from, and a couple different cold brews you can select. Now, I'm not really an iced coffee person myself, but I'm half tempted to try the Nitro cold brew. I mean, it's named Nitro. It's probably the Jolt cola of coffee.
So if you haven't been inside the QT on Bell & Arden in awhile, now is a great time to go and check it out. I wouldn't be surprised if my wife is there right now trying these new coffees.
