The always coveted world record is being eyed once again, but this time it's not Tommy The HackerRapper Donny Goines has announced that he is going to attempt to beat the current record for the world's longest freestyle rap.

If you are like me then you are probably thinking, I didn't even know a record for that existed.  Well it does and as of right now it stands at 12 hours.  The record was actually achieved on October 22, 2011 by a rapper named Reid Brown or V.I.P.

He won the record after he freestyle rapped for 12 hours straight.

Donny Goines wants to not only beat that record, but to smash it by going for 24 hours straight.  Of course, The Guinness Book of World Records will be present.  Goines plans on breaking the record on October 1st of this year.  And the entire thing will be streamed live.

Here is video of V.I.P breaking the record.
