Robin Thicke and Paula Patton Announce Separation

The first thought that comes to my mind is, 'we all saw it coming.'  After months of defending their marriage, Robin Thicke and Paula Patton have split up.

After 8 years of marriage and a child, the High School sweethearts have decided to call it quits.  Every since Robin Thicke's song 'Blurred Lines' took his career to new heights, the cheating rumors were everywhere.  There were even several pictures that surfaced of him and other women.

But throughout the entire ordeal, he and his wife defended their marriage.  The couple did make a mutual statement:

"We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time."

There is no word about divorce, but that usually follows.  The couple do have a son, so hopefully they will put his best interest first.
