According to a press release issued by the Marin County Coroner’s office a 9-1-1 phone call came in just before noon today. Robin Williams was found this morning in his California home.

Robin had been battling severe depression. The Sheriff’s office suspects the death to be suicide due to asphyxia. Robin Williams was best known for his starring roles in classic comedies like the TV show Mork & Mindy, Mrs. Doubtfire and Jumanji.

Robin's wife posted a message on social media:

"This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one if its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings. I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope that the focus will not be on Robin's death but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions."

Robin Williams will always be remembered as one of the best comedians/actors ever. Sadly Williams lived a short life and was only 63-years-old.
