Hey Guys, It's Kenny.

Over my radio career, I've played all kinds of music (that includes a LOT of rock music).  I know it's not Kiss music, but I wanted to jot a few notes about the former lead singer of the Stone Temple Pilots, Scott Weiland.

Scott died last night. He was found unresponsive on his bus right before a show.  Scott had a LONG battle with drug abuse. He was a very troubled soul. But as troubled as he was, he was equally talented and one of the best front men every to grace the stage.

When I worked in Little Rock, AR, I was at a show with one of his other bands "Velvet Revolver". I was standing by the stage waiting to make announcements. Now they told me if I ran into Scott backstage, not to engage with him.  He was quite volatile. Anyway, as I stood there, someone on a bicycle pulled up next to me. I turned to look and it was Scott Weiland.  He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back without saying anything. He turned around and rode off.

Anyway, for a generation of rock fans, this is a sad day.  If you want to read more, go HERE.

Thanks,

Kenny
