Amarillo Tri-State Fair Kicking Off With New Concert Series
The Amarillo Tri-State Fair is just around the corner and they are doing something special this year with the kickoff.
Get ready for two great nights of music inside the Amarillo National Center.
According to Brady Ragland with the Amarillo Tri-State Fair:
We're going to unveil a brand new concert series called the Dancing in the Dirt Concert series. It'll be the first Friday and Saturday. Night of the fair right here in the Amarillo National Center. It's going to be brought to you by Amarillo National Bank. And the dancing in the dirt concert series is here to do exactly as the name says we're going to have live entertainment right here on the floor of the Amarillo National Center.
On Friday, September 16th Wade Bowen will be performing at the Amarillo Tri-State Fair. Then on Saturday, September 17th, The Frontmen will take the stage.
Now if The Frontmen doesn't ring a bell, know that the group is made up of the former lead singers of the band Little Texas, Restless Heart, and Lonestar.
We think that by bringing the concerts inside, we think that we can really show off the beautiful Amarillo National Center. We can take advantage of the big floor that we have downstairs and give folks an area to dance and have fun. And then you know, with the West Texas weather sometimes in September, you never really know what it might bring. So by bringing the concerts indoors, we're guaranteed to have a roof over our head and be able to have a good time no matter what's going on outside. But it just got to really build on top of the fair experience even more than it already is.
Tickets for each show will be $25 and they will include admission to the Amarillo Tri-State Fair. VIP tickets are also available. Tickets are on sale now.
The Amarillo Tri-State Fair will be September 16th - 24th, 2022
