Shelbi McClure – WT Cheerlader Killed In Car Crash

More sad news as another Amarillo/Canyon resident is taken before their time.  Shelbi McClure (pictured on the left side of image above), a 21 year old sophomore and cheerleader at WT, died just after 12m this morning as a train struck her car on 4th St.

She was studying pre-nursing at WT according to a school official.

Very sad news again, as in the past 2 weeks, we've had 2 vehicle related deaths, and a fallen soldier, all out of our area.

According to Amarillo Globe News, police are still investigating the incident.

May she rest in piece.
