As we sit out here at Help 4 The Holidays in Amarillo, we are in a building that only has one other business attached to it. Now, I've seen this building plenty of times, but I've never paid attention to what Ehle was.

We figured we would have some neighbors this year, and we were hoping for some kinder ones than we've had in the past. However, it turns out we would have no neighbors this year, surprisingly.

Ehle Was No Longer Ehle

Something I was fully unaware of, and there's a good chance you were too, Robert Ehle, the man who owned the business, recently experienced a global aphasia stroke. If you're unaware what that is, it's a stroke that affects both the language-receptive and language-expressive areas of your brain.

It creates a severe language disorder due to extensive damage to the brain, and after some personal reflection and consulting with doctors, Dr. Ehle announced he wouldn't be able to return to practice.

A New Business...Temporarily

In light of this news, they still held the lease to the building and when someone came calling, they were more than happy to sublease it.

Spine & Sports Wellness Clinic stepped in as they were looking for a temporary place to post up. Their office had flooded and they were able to sublease the location Ehle was previously in.

The Business Is On The Move

As we were setting things up for Help 4 The Holidays on Friday, we noticed there was a truck outside, and people were loading up a ton of bins in it. We weren't sure if it was just cleaning up the place a bit or not. Turns out, that wasn't the case.

In case you were looking for them, and it appears a couple of people were, they've moved to a different location, as you can see above.
