According to a press release, Coffee Memorial usually has a three-to-five-day supply on hand for local hospitals. Levels have dwindled to less than one day.

It's hard to fathom yourself or a loved one in a lifesaving situation. You never know when you're in need of blood to save your life.

Coffee Memorial Blood Center is asking the community come togehter and help them get the blood supply to safe levels.  They are currently in need of O- and O+ blood types.  Of course, O- is the universal blood type and can be given to anyone in an emergency.

If you can make it by the Coffee Memorial Blood Center to give the gift of life, it would be greatly appreciated!  Recent traumas have depleted the blood supply, and our area is in immediate need of O+, O-, A+ & A- blood types!  If you have one of these types, please go by 7500 Wallace Blvd and give the gift of life!  With each person that donates, that's just 1 more life saved!
