So today is Groundhog Day and luckily it won't repeat itself. Or I'll let you know in the morning if it does, but I digress, the cute little furry groundhog Punxsutawney Phil came out of his hole this morning and what did he see or not see?
Today is Groundhog Day and Punxsutawney Phil has emerged and unfortunately for those of us who love Spring and Summer, we now have to face six more weeks of winter.
When it was released in 1993, 'Groundhog Day' was only a modest success at the box office. But thanks to a hilarious lead performance from Bill Murray, an original script cowritten and directed by Harold Ramis and a cast that includes familiar faces like Chris Elliott and Andie MacDowell, it has gone on to become a comedy classic.
Every year thousands of spectators come out to see if Punxsutawney Phil sees his shadow. So are we going to have six more weeks of winter or will we be blessed with an early spring?
