Texas DPS Seizes Over $100,000 In Marijuana Just Outside Of Amarillo

The Texas Department of Public Safety found a drug bust in what was just a routine traffic stop.  I mean just over $100,000 worth of giggle weed in Oldham County.

Amarillo Globe News reports that the bust went down yesterday afternoon at 12:49pm.  A state trooper pulled over a Ford Taurus that was traveling down I-40 through Wildorado for "driving in the left lane without passing".  If you aren't familiar, there are signs up and down I-40 that say "Left Lane For Passing Only".  But I've never actually heard of anyone being pulled over for it!

Either way, the dogs were called, and the K-9 sniffed out the marijuana, concealed in the trunk of the car.

The driver of the car was all the way from California, meaning he crossed quite a few state lines trafficking these drugs!  He's gonna be in some big trouble!
