Texas Woman Allegedly Castrates Man While Embalming Body
We hear about a lot of wild things that happen here in Texas, but this has to be one of the craziest things I've heard in quite some time. The crazy thing is I can understand WHY someone would want to do this, but in no way does it make it ok.
It comes from a funeral home in Houston involving an angry embalmer who took some matters into her own hands, even when it wasn't her place to do so.

Amber Paige Laudermilk is accused of doing something absolutely harrowing to the body of Charles Roy Rodriguez.
A little backstory here. Rodriguez was a convicted sex offender. Back in 2001, he was charged with sexual assault and ultimately given a 10 year deferred adjudication, which in essence is a probation.
He had to stay registered as a sex offender and stay out of trouble, which he did. Rodriguez ultimately passed away due to natural causes back in January at a Houston hospital.
The body was transported to Memorial Mortuary and Crematory for final preparation before the funeral. This is where Laudermilk allegedly took matters into her own hands.
Yes, no one like a sexual offender. Some crimes are more heinous and unacceptable than others, and while we can have a public opinion on how we feel about this, it doesn't give us the right to do what Laudermilk is accused of doing.
This is where things will get a bit graphic, so if you don't want to read what allegedly happened, now would be your stopping point.
According to court documents filed, Laudermilk began by stabbing Rodriguez's genitals twice, then ultimately castrated him. However, the allegations don't stop there.
Once castrated, Laudermilk allegedly stuffed his genitals into his mouth. According to court records, there was an embalming student who witnessed the entire thing and was told by Laudermilk, "You didn't see anything," and moved forward with her work.
Other employees saw the aftermath and asked what had happened, and ultimately everyone was afraid to report it as Laudermilk allegedly came off as threatening.
After police were ultimately notified, Laudermilk turned herself into police. She is currently being held on a $5,000 bond.
