Texas Science Class Plays Jump Rope With Cat Intestines and Gets PETA Involved [VIDEO]
Just a warning: Some might find this video kind of gross.
A video surfaced on YouTube of a science class at Winston Churchill High School in Texas doing something pretty surprising with cat intestines.
According to My San Antonio, the teacher of this high school science class wanted to demonstrate the strength of cat intestines to the students. Apparently, the teacher had seen the same demonstration at Texas A&M University.
PETA has petitioned Winston Churchill High School to change their teaching methods when it comes to animals.
Northeast Independent School District is defending the teacher and unique lesson. They are investigating the incident, but have not taken any disciplinary actions.
As you can see in the video, the cat intestines are, in fact, extremely strong. The students seem engaged and interested in the lesson.
Do you think this lesson was out of line or just a different way of teaching kids about science?
