The Situation is raising the BS flag on Abercrombie & Fitch. Recently, they released a press release claiming to have contacted him and requesting the cast of Jersey Shore NOT wear the clothing line. Even go so far as to say they offered money to seal the deal.  Well no matter how funny I thought the whole thing was, I'm actually going to back up the Sitch on this one and here's why.

First off, Abercrombie & Fitch have Jersey Shore themed clothes.  They have a GTL shirt (Gym Tan Laundry) and they even have a shirt that says The Fitchuation on it.  Obviously a play on Jersey Shore right?  The Fitchuation shirt was even the top selling shirt last year for A&F so why would they not want the crew wearing the clothing line?  It's all kinda seeming like a lie now, a publicity stunt.

Now I don't believe everything the Sitch says, but I really do believe this last statement.  From TMZ:

The Situation is personally calling out Abercrombie & Fitch over their phony "We'll Pay You to Not Wear Our Clothes" offer ... claiming no one from A&F ever called him ... but he's totally up for a deal!!

Sitch was chillin' in his Ferrari in Jersey yesterday when he told a photog, "Nobody's contacted me in any way ... and that's pretty crazy, you're gonna pay someone NOT to wear something? Call me up man!" (see video here)

I don't think he's lying, I'm pretty sure he's telling the truth here and it was all a plead for attention by A&F.  Probably because they are sucking now.  When was the last time you stepped into A&F?  Been a very long time for me!  They're getting desperate and no matter how much we hate The Situation, he's far from desperate.  He's loaded with cash due to the success of Jersey Shore, he probably doesn't even wear A&F he probably wears Louis Vitton or Armani.

Good job A&F!  You've lost all credibility with me now.  Congratulations on another major FAIL!
