If you needed a reminder that the Sod Poodles 2021 season is almost over, it doesn't get better than this. The Sod Poodles have already announced their 2022 schedule.

In a press release earlier this week, the Sod Poodles announced that their schedule for next year has already been solidified and gave us a look at what we can expect.

The most important date for next year, for most of us, would be opening day. The Sod Poodles kick off the season with a home-stand that starts on Friday, April 8, 2022. They'll be taking on the Midland RockHounds.

The season will run through Sunday, September 18, 2022.

There are several holidays that the Sod Poodles will be celebrating at home in 2022. Cinco De Mayo, Mothers Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day will be spent at Hodgetown.

While there hasn't been any announcement made yet as to what we can expect when it comes to theme nights or special holiday events. It's hard to imagine that we will go without all of the special nights we all come to love.

In total, the Sod Poodles will play 69 games at home. All in all, there will be 138 regular season games played in 2022.

Also, the press release did mention that Mondays will remain as universal league days off. No baseball on Mondays.

If you haven't been out to Hodgetown yet this season, you still have a little bit of time. The end of the season is just right around the corner. You can find upcoming dates and ticket information at the website SodPoodles.com.
