Townsquare Media Receives the AFP Outstanding Media Award

The Association of Fundraising Professionals Texas Plains Chapter or AFP awarded Townsquare Media the Outstanding Media Award for 2015.

On Friday, November 6, 2015, Townsquare Media, including Mix 94.1, 96.9 KISS FM, 98.7 JACK FM, 101.9 Blake FM and NewsTalk 940,  was awarded the Outstanding Media Award from the AFP.   The Children's Miracle Network a local children's organization in Amarillo nominated TSM to receive the award.

Townsquare Media is a rare partner because they see the importance of giving back to the community through support of nonprofits.  They are reliable friends to the Amarillo Area and worthy of recognition through the National Philanthropy Day Outstanding Media Award. -Jodi Reid, Director of Children's Miracle Network

I cannot begin to tell you how honored we are to receive this award.  We as a group of radio stations don't help in the community because we have to, we do it because we love the organizations we help.  We love getting out there and raising awareness of our local non-profits.    We have the ability to get the word out and hopefully that translate into a life being saved or a smile or a child's face.  We have a great group of people who work at Townsquare Media and a lot of people with a servant's heart.
