Amarillo Tri-State Fair 2025: Dates, Prices, and Must-See Events
Now that we're into September here in the Texas Panhandle, that means one thing and one thing only. The Amarillo Tri-State Fair & Rodeo is right around the corner! Funnel cakes, carnival rides, the rodeo, and live music are all set to go.
Nine days of pure fun and memories are set to be made, and wallets a little bit lighter...ok, a LOT lighter, but it's all worth it at the end of the day, right?

When Is The Tri-State Fair & Rodeo
It's slated for September 12-20 this year out at the fairgrounds, so it all kicks off in 10 days. In other words, you don't have a whole lot of time to get yourself ready, so it's time to start getting those outfits ready to go.
The fair will open its gates every day at 11 am, including weekdays, if you're looking to play hooky with the kids from school. The gates close at 10:30 pm each day, while the fair will stop operating at midnight each evening.

What's The Lineup For This Year In Amarillo
There are all the obvious things, such as the carnival happening every day, so no need to spend any more time on that. Some of the highlights include concerts and the rodeo that will take place.
Randall King will be the first concert on September 13, and he's the big headliner, so you won't want to miss it! Stage 1923 will have live music from an array of different genres each night of the fair as well. The PRCA rodeo will kick off on September 18th and run through the 20th to close down the fair. The full lineup of events can be found on the fair website.
How Much Is It Going To Cost Me

Children ages 6-12 run $7, while kiddos 5 and under get in for free
Seniors aged 60+ are getting in for only $7
Saturday & Sunday
General admission bumps up to $12, and no free time to get in
Children aged 6-12 bump up to $9, but the kiddos 5 and under are still free
Seniors also see a bit of an increase, up to $9
