As if there weren't already enough issues and detours going on in Amarillo, we now have a new one to deal with for at least today.

A water main break on Wolflin Ave. on Thursday night is causing some major headaches for that area, and it's impacted Tascosa High School the most.

Before we get to the traffic concerns, it's important to note that the water main break has NOT impacted the school's water as of Friday morning, so students won't have any issues inside the school.

However, that could potentially change as they work on repairing the break.

Now, on to the traffic concerns. The water main break took place on the north lane headed westbound on Wolflin Ave. They've had to close that road completely while they go to work on that area. That was closed this morning with no ETA as to when it'll be re-opened.

As to how it impacts the students, especially the ones that drive themselves, Westlawn from Wolflin down to the north side of the west student parking lot at Tascosa High will be closed all day as they work on the street repairs.

If any more updates come in, we'll be sure to add them here.

I love Google. It can literally answer ANYTHING you need it to answer. Whether it's right or wrong is a totally different question.

Recently, I found myself wondering about something and went to Google.
