15 Year Old Girl Identified As Driver In Fatal Hit And Run In Amarillo

Amarillo Police have identified a 15 year old girl as the driver in the recent fatal hit and run accident that took place at 45th & the Canyon E-Way in Amarillo.  She has been arrested, and placed in the Youth Center of the High Plains.

Amarillo Police:

"APD’s Traffic Investigation Unit received information on the possible driver in the Hit & Run accident. Through this information, witnesses and evidence, officers were able to identify a 15 female as being the driver. The 15 year old female has been arrested and charged with Accident Causing Injury or Death. She has been arrested and placed in the Youth Center of the High Plains."

The incident remains under investigation by APD.
