A OK Amusements Of Amarillo Robbed
They say "no news is good news", and we're not getting a whole lot of that today in Amarillo it seems. A OK Amusements at 502 N Fillmore was robbed just before 11am this morning. APD is investigating the robbery, and provides a description of the suspect.
"On Wednesday January 22nd, at 10:40am, officers were dispatched to the A OK Amusements at 502 N Fillmore on a Robbery that had just occurred. Upon arrival, officers learned that an H/M had entered the slots type business and approached a machine near the register and began to play. A clerk at the business was standing behind the counter near the register holding a bank bag in their hand. The H/M grabbed the bag and struggled with the clerk to wrestle it away from them. As the suspect is wrestling the bag away from the clerk, he (the suspect) pulls his jacket back and reveals a chrome semi auto pistol in his waistband. The clerk was unable to hang onto the bag and the suspect takes it and runs out the door. The suspect is further described as H/M late 20’s early 30’s, 5’10’ wearing a dark hoodie, black beanie cap and tennis shoes. It is also believed the suspect had a shaved head. The suspect was possibly driving a gray Chevrolet Trailblazer.
